20,000 or 25,000 Aeroplan miles for opening a new TD account

I am a big fan of no-fee chequing accounts and I have used PC Financial for years but this is an intriguing offer.

Here is how the offer works.

A couple walks hand in hand outside

Earn 20,000 Aeroplan Miles when you open an All-Inclusive or Unlimited Personal Chequing Account at TD by March 31, 2014 and complete two of these three transactions through that account: Direct deposit, Pre-Authorized debit, Online Bill Payment, by May 19, 2014.

Earn a further 5,000 miles when you set up overdraft protection on that account by May 19, 2014.

I recommend keeping this open for at least 6 months (early termination fee of $15).

Apply here on-line.

For TD Aeroplan Visa holders only, I believe.

It doesn’t say that on the page.

      Thanks.

Yeah, I was about to open one until I saw the reports on the RedFlagDeals post. So I applied for the first year free Visa promo first (phone or in-branch apps only) and will now enjoy a total of 40k miles instead. 🙂

I tried this and was told that this was an offer only for targeted customers.
