Having a Platinum card is expensive ($699 annual fee), but the benefits for me are worth it (at least for the first year).
Being a Platinum member gets you invites to interesting experiences where you can’t actually get from TicketMaster or get on StubHub or Craigslist.
AMEX Canada emailed me today with an amazing experience (high cost by tax deductible or I could use my Membership Rewards).
Here is a screenshot of the offer.
Platinum Cardmembers are invited to join world-renowned music producer David Foster and the David Foster Foundation for an afternoon at DeerFields Stables Country Inn.
