  • Earn 20 Aeroplan miles per $1 donated to the Red Cross

    The Red Cross is having a promotion where you can earn 20 Aeroplan miles (or Scene points, if that’s more your style) per $1 donated.

    This is a pretty amazing return (40% back at a $0.02 valuation), and for a great cause. The caveat is that you aren’t able to get a tax receipt for these donations, though for most people it will still work out favourably.

  • Redeem Paytm Points for Paytm Cash and gift cards

    PayTM (my favourite way to pay my bills to earn extra credit card spending miles) has made some great new changes!

    1. Receive 500 welcome bonus points just for signing up. Starting today, when you download the Paytm Canada app from either the App store or the Google Play store and sign up you’ll get 500 points instantly.
    2. Receive 2,000 points for referring a friend. When you share your referral code with a friend you’ll get 2,000 points when they sign up for Paytm Canada and pay their first bill of $50 or more.
