Qantas has shown some airfares from Vancouver to Sydney, Australia (SYD) for $999 roundtrip including taxes. The flights are non-stop.

Sydney for $999 – June 20, 22, or 25 to July 2, 4, or 6

Sydney for $999 – July 4 or 6 to July 16 or 18

    Too bad only 25% miles earned when credited to AAdvantage. I wish AA started flying to Australia.
