CIBC Aventura cardholders have another limited flight discount available.

You can fly on select WestJet routes for 9,000 to 25,000 Aventura points.

The amount of points and the discount depends on the route. This could be a good offer for winter travel.

It’s not First Year Free in Quebec indeed you do have to pay the $149. But, you get 30,000 more points ($150) and you have no minimum spend where out-of-Quebec needs to spend $10,000 for same bonus!

It is a no-brainer for Quebec residents – not sure why they are segmenting the offer by province.
